Strong, direct and disciplined, Kade lives by the rules and is fiercely protective of his twin sister. He is stubborn and pragmatic, and he does not believe in anything he cannot see.
What we are looking for
An actor who can hold a hard, controlled exterior while letting us glimpse the love and fear underneath. Someone who can bring emotional intimacy to a harsh world, often without words.
Agnes
- Playing age
- 18–25

Creative, open and warm, Agnes is talkative and light-hearted, and she believes in the good in everyone. She is emotional and just as stubborn as her brother, and she cares for him deeply.
What we are looking for
An actor with a natural lightness and humour who can move into real, vulnerable emotion in an instant. Agnes is the heart of the film and its narrator.
Adam
- Playing age
- 40–65

- Open to all backgrounds
At first glance, Adam is an imposing and intimidating figure. In truth, he has a gentle heart and a quiet faith in the good in people.
What we are looking for
An actor with real presence, who can carry Adam’s hardness and then turn, quickly and convincingly, to warmth.
